Add a Catholic Bible version to your website
The Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible is in the public domain, with no copyright or other restrictions on its use and publication. You can freely add this version to your website. You can add your own commentary after each verse or passage. You can freely quote and print out this version of the Bible without restriction. More about the CPDV.
First Method:

1. Make a new directory on your webserver called CPDV or other name.

2. Download this zipped version of all the files for the New Testament:   CPDV-NT.zip

3. Copy all the files to the directory (CPDV).

4. Make a link from your webpage to CPDV/index.htm
If you need the exact html code, here it is:
<A HREF="CPDV/index.htm">The New Testament</A>

5. Now when anyone clicks on that link, they will be taken to the CPDV New Testament. The index page will look something like this:   screen-capture1.jpg

6. You are free to alter these files, so as to add your own Bible commentary.

To change the background image for the pages: Take the graphics file you want to use, in GIF format, and change the file name to:   parchment.gif   Then upload that file to your site, in place of the file of the same name which is included in the downloaded files.

Second Method:

This method lets you place just four links to four separate webpages anywhere on your site, without a separate directory for the files. The entire New Testament is on four webpages:
(1) All four Gospels
(2) The Acts of the Apostles
(3) All of the Epistles
(4) The Book of Revelation

1. First, download this zipped version of all the files for the New Testament:   CPDV-NT-4.zip

2. Then upload these files (six total) to your web server, to whichever directory will have the links to these pages.

3. Now link to those files from your pages:

<A HREF="NT-00_Gospels.htm">The Four Gospels</A>
<A HREF="NT-00_Epistles.htm">The Epistles</A>
<A HREF="NT-05_Acts.htm">Acts of the Apostles</A>
<A HREF="NT-27_Revelation.htm">Revelation</A>

4. You are free to alter these files, so as to add your own Bible commentary. You can make other changes to these files, as you see fit to do, without restriction.

Now you can add a Catholic version of the New Testament to any of your webpages, easily and freely!
